DIESEL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN in Ennis, TX
Rogers Group is seeking an individual to fill a DIESEL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN in Ennis, TX, located near Corsicana, south of the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) area. This individual will be responsible for performing fixed plant repairs, recommending plant improvements, diagnosing, and repairing mobile heavy equipment (Komatsu & Caterpillar), and assisting with various production duties as needed. The starting pay range is $35/hr. Pay will be determined based on candidate's overall experience and skill set.
The successful candidate for this position will have a strong background of experience in welding, fabrication, and fixed plant repair work and a strong commitment to safety excellence. Experience or background in millwright type work “ metal fabrication, cutting, and machinery repair “ is preferred.
Qualifications:
Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
Previous fixed plant maintenance or related industry experience.
Experience fabricating, cutting, fitting, and welding is preferred.
Must have mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed.
Experience working with crushers, conveyors and screens is preferred but not required.
Previous mining/quarry/maintenance experience preferred but not required.
Self-motivated individual - must be able to perform required duties independently, without constant supervision.
Must be flexible on working hours and locations with the ability to adapt to different work environments.
May be called upon at the discretion of management to perform any other duties assigned and/or assist other areas as necessary.
Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and nights when necessary.
Must be willing to work outside in a variety of conditions.
Must have a valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.
Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
