Job Requirements:
Operate as a Yard Jockey when needed- Operate a terminal tractor, also known as a yard jockey or yard dog, and help move semi-trailers within a warehouse environment between dock doors and warehouses.
Operate Forklift.
Perform daily maintenance checks and ensure safe operation and follow all established rules and policies regarding forklift operation.
Receive and store all finished goods produced by manufacturing.
Maintain inventory control of all finished goods received.
Retrieve stock as necessary to fill orders.
Stencil cartons or attach labels as required by customers.
Ensure all trailer wheels are properly chalked and that floor bed is safe before driving load onto trailer.
Assist drivers in loading stock on trailers.
Responsible for counts and item accuracy on all loads shipped.
Ensure shipments are packed properly and protected against damage in transit.
Rearrange warehouse as directed by Warehouse Supervisor to accommodate production.
Receive finished goods from outside production sources and be responsible for counts and putting goods into inventory.
Keep department clean and organized.
Perform cycle counts.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Additional Skills & Requirements Current CDL License Forklift experience Supply chain/shipping & receiving inventory loading Whether you are looking to gain experience or starting out, we have a job for you! Please note - Team members must be able to commute to Ennis, TX.
