To ensure that our products meet the highest standards, we are looking for a quality control lab technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in quality control or quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.
He or she will be responsible for conducting chemical and physical testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
The quality control technician will also develop and validate test methods, as well as investigate and troubleshoot quality issues and work with plant personnel to correct off-spec production batches.
This is an hourly position for our 1st shift (7am-4pm).
Duties & Responsibilities Perform physical and chemical testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods according to established methods and procedures Assist in the development and validation of new testing methods as needed Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all testing data Investigate out-of-specification test results and take appropriate corrective action Train other QC personnel in testing methods and procedures Perform root cause analysis on process and product non-conformances Assist in the development and implementation of quality control systems Monitor compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements Participate in internal and external audits Make recommendations for improvements to existing quality control systems Monday - Friday, Saturday as needed Required Skills and Qualifications Prior lab experience, including wet chemistry preparation & analytical methods Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000) Working knowledge of LIMS systems Excellent attention to detail Strong communication skills Preferred Skills and Qualifications 2-3 years' experience working in a quality control laboratory Experience leading projects and teams Good knowledge of MS Office and databases Proven Experience as a Quality Control Technician or relevant role.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
