Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Host.
As a Host/Host, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers.
Your role will involve greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and assisting with various tasks to support the smooth operation of the restaurant.
Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome upon arrival - Seat guests in a timely manner, taking into consideration their preferences and special requests - Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart - Provide accurate wait times and communicate any delays to guests - Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations - Assist servers with table set-up and clean-up as needed - Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness and proper presentation - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient flow of service - Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate issues when necessary - Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and promotions - Run food to guest tables from the kitchen - Help servers and baristas bag up take out orders when needed Requirements:
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills - Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred - Familiarity with POS systems is a plus - Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required At our establishment, we value teamwork, exceptional service, and creating memorable experiences for our guests.
